Dress Up Your Pout This Holiday Season

There is one item that will complete any look and that is a lip colour that complements the make up look you achieved or the outfit you are wearing to that dinner party that you are there set on impressing a few individuals with your confidence.

You have to experiment with colour and find the best tones for your skin and that will make your look pop, so I have a few of my favourites listed below.

Available in Tender Rose, Subtle Rose,
Natural Rose, Paradise Pink and Miami Pink.

For that neutral day look, where you are just staying around the house, running errands, just going out having a coffee with a couple friends, I would choose a soft pink colour. Here are soft pink colours that I recommend. These are all Clarins brand lip colours and they are moisturizing and give you full colour all day.

Shiseido RD613- Mystery

A few of my favourites for a night time look, where you are going out on a date, business event or just going out with the girls, you will be guaranteed to get a few compliments. I chose some different cosmetics companies for this one because I am torn with a few.

Clinique Different Lipstick- Rose Aglow

Once you pair up these colours to complete your overall look with your eyes and blush you are sure to have an amazing look. It is the holiday season so why not create that warm look and rock the colours you wouldn't normally wear. Step out of your comfort zone and take a chance.

And if you are very daring and want to go for bold and bright, choose Red Red Red from Clinique. That is a colour that is sure to grab the attention of many people and you will be asked all night what colour that is. Whether you are dressed in a little black dress or just enjoying a cup of hot chocolate by the fire, you can easily wear this colour alone or make a neutral eye make up look. The most universal lip colour that can be used by anyone.

So throw on your sexiest dress, let your hair down and rock your look for the holidays and show everyone the confident woman you are! Enjoy my fellow followers! Happy Holidays- Beauty Geek

A Splash of Colour With A Compliment

We have all been in the situation, of the beautiful colours staring at us in the face, that we want to try so bad but dont have enough willpower to let our guards down and try new things.

Well let your hair down and rock it girl! Be yourself and never look back!

Whether you have blue, hazel, green, grey, brown eyes there are tons of colours that compliment and enhance your eye colours that maybe you didn't already know about.

For a natural look for brown eyes, go for colours in the neutral zone, so browns and greens. To enhance your eyes go for a dramatic look with blues and purples! But do stay away from any grey shades as they will only dull the colour of your eyes.

For a natural look for your sparkling green eyes stick to colours in the green shades and neutral tones. For an enhanced look use shades with slight red undertones (red-orange, red-violets, violet, coppers, rusts, purples). You know what will look good and what will not. Experiment.

Complementing hazel eyes is a mixture between brown and green eye choices. So to get a natural look use colours in the gold family as well as neutral shades. To enhance the striking hazels, use shades in the violets/purple families.

Blue eyes can be tricky to make them pop! But for a natural look use the colours in the grey families. Also to get an enhanced look use colours like golds, orange-browns (peach/copper), red-browns (plums and mauves), and neutrals (taupe and camel).

The fun thing about colour and experimenting is nothing is set in stone and you can wash it off with cleanser and water if you don't like it. Step outside your comfort zone and use the creative imagination you were born with. Who knows, you could create a new trend for the year! Never stop being an individual and stay true to yourself.

Enjoy!!

Natural and Earth Friendly Cosmetics

Product Review #1 - No Miss Cosmetics

I have had the wonderful experience of trying out No Miss Ltd. Cosmetics and I'm absolutely addicted.
This article is going to be on a couple No Miss Shadows and Liquid Eyeliners.

Sebring Shadow and Tallahassee Tan

These colours are more of neutral brown tones and go with any outfit. If you want a casual yet sleek look these are great shadows for either day or night. There is no residue left over, they blend well and throughout the day you do not need to touch up anything and there is no separation from the shadow from the eyelid if applied properly.

Ingredients: Silica, Mica and Iron Oxide

Brown and Black Liquid Eyeliner

I have to say, I was skeptical at first when I noticed it was a liquid eyeliner but turns out the application of the product is smooth, due to the amazing and precise applicator brush and the colour is vibrant and you only need a little because it really goes a long way. The liner stays on all day and doesn't run which that is a product worth keeping because having makeup that runs isn't a good thing. The great thing about this liner is, if you make a mistake, you can easily touch it up with a Q-Tip that has a bit of water on the tip. Easy cleanup.

Ingredients: Honeysuckle Flower Extract, Bergamot Oil, Green Tea Extract, Jojoba Oil, Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter

Overall I give these products an 8/10 and hope you get a chance to try them because they are really worth the chance.

Sweet Tooth and The Potential Consequences

We are all victims to our weaknesses for sweets and then delicious treats at the holiday season! But with the holiday season approaching, I am just going to give my advice on a certain topic. As I have experienced this.

You want the best possible Holiday photo right? You normally are the type that says I don't like that one take another? Well the small solution to this dilemma is be aware of the things entering your body.

Your skin tells a few stories and it shows the kind of things you eat. So when you are sitting around have a wonderful time indulging in treats and those delicious homemade pies, remember this: Mix in some fruit and veggies.

Fruits and Vegetables are great healthy alternatives and are natural. I know for me the holidays are all about balance and honestly knowing that you can still have those treats and increase your fruit/vegetable intake, your body and skin will thank you and you will feel fabulous!

So, put your feet up for the holiday season, leave the stress behind, enjoy the moments with family and friends and make it a holiday to remember!
