"Ever wonder why you haven't been able to grow your nails or they seemed to stop growing? Are you getting frustrated not being able to dress your natural nail up with a French Manicure and instead you have to apply Gel or Acrylic to your natural nail?"
The secret behind naturally growing your nails would be increasing your intake of Calcium!
Many of us do not realize that our nails are classified as bones. In order to gain strength in the body we drink milk to make our bones stronger so it makes sense that in order to gain strength and growth in our nails, we need to take Calcium, whether through supplements or through our dairy intake per day.
Keeping your hands moisturized as well with a Healthy Hands and Nails moisturizer works wonders and helps give the nails nutrients and the proper vitamins.
Keep your nails filed, the cuticles neatly groomed and clean under your nails daily. You never know how much dirt and debris are under those nails.
Keep yourself hydrated with water and eating properly and you will notice a difference! Show off those nails and embrace them! Enjoy

| Shimmer Cube- Body Shop Spring Release |
The Body Shop has figured out what it takes to create a soft yet bold statement when it comes to their colours. These four colours look phenomenal once applied to the eyelids and you don't need to layer it on either.
You can create many looks with these colours and it all depends on your mood. With the weather changing and as we put our winter clothing away and unpack our spring/summer fashions it isn't hard to create a fresh statement for a new year and season.
The great advertising and marketing of this product is very clever as well. The cubes are removable and can be switched for easy change of season or mood days.
Overall my review of this amazing idea and colours is an 8/10 !!
Stop by any Body Shop to see what promotions and daily deals they have going on.
You will be surprised how much colour changes things!

Self Tanning Tips
This one is for men and women! That is right, it is really alright for the gentlemen in our lives to use self tanner as well.
The biggest issue with applying self tanner is an even application. I can just imagine the amount of individuals who have tried to apply the self tanner, whether it was the spray on, lotion, or towelettes and they find out a few hours later when the "tan" starts to develop that they look like a "zebra".
Solution is: You really need to be exfoliating your skin really good with a reputable body scrub and an exfoliating mitt. Removing dead skin and debris is a must because you need a fresh even layer of skin in order to get that even application.
It is honestly a trial and error method when finding the best product that works well for you and your skin type. When you want to put a little colour on your face, use one specifically made for your face. You could potentially breakout from the products made for your body, if applied to the face because the added ingredients aren't normally recommended for your face. They are too oily or heavy to have on the face. It is all about educating yourself.
Enjoy :)

Waxing and Tattoos
Q: Can you wax over a tattoo?
A: Yes, you can wax over a tattoo. But you have to be careful the type of wax you use. The best wax to use would be hard wax oppose to soft wax. Why? Hard wax only attaches to the hair and not the skin so you will not effect the tattoo in an way, shape or form. Soft wax on the other hand, well when you apply the soft wax, you apply a thin layer, then you apply a wax strip and once you remove the wax on the strip you are removing a small layer of skin.
Another good way to keep your tattoo looking vibrant and to keep the colour from fading is apply moisturizer to it after you are finished waxing and everyday in general. But, please make sure you give your tattoo enough time to heal properly before you start waxing over it. I would give it eight months to a year before you actually start applying wax over top of it.
**Be aware that wherever you get the tattoo, it will become more sensitive then before you had a tattoo done. **

Glowing Skin From Head to Toe
Those winter blahs are kicking in and we are noticing the white skin that comes with the weather changing and we no longer see the sun as much as we do in the summer time. But don't worry I have the perfect solution to get glowing skin and to get you feeling better about accepting the white legs in the winter.I'm not suggesting tanning beds because those are not the solution. I am suggesting purchasing an all over body scrub. The Body Shop has an amazing scrub and it smells delicious (enough that you can eat it, but i wouldn't suggest that either) It is called Spiced Vanilla Body Scrub and it works wonders.
The other thing you need to keep up with is moisturizing after you get out of the shower. It's that extra step that we always forget to do after and usually that is when our dry, scaly skin develops. It is very important to keep moisture locked into your skin because there is nothing like being in class or in a meeting and you are scratching your legs.
Another great way is to purchase a tinted moisturizer if you want a subtle colour on your skin throughout year. It is a safer way of getting that glow. But the best way is to exfoliate and follow with a moisturizer. With those simple steps you will be that much closer to beautiful, glowing skin in no time.

Personal Review On Products #1
I received an amazing opportunity from Vervegirl Magazine to sample a few products and write a review on them.
It was really hard to decide on just three but after careful considerations I made it possible.
Revlon Photo Ready 3D Volume Mascara, Revlon ColourStay Gel Eyeliner, and Bonne Bell LipLites.
This is great mascara. When applying it to the lashes it evenly coated them and also separated them as well. With the plastic comb, you do not get the clumping that most mascara develops. At a retail value of approximately $9.95, it is reasonable and would be worth it for me to purchase.
I have to admit, this is my new favourite eyeliner! Goodbye pencil liners, hello gel eyeliner. The application is so easy and mistake-proof. The applicator is a brush which is very precise. Throughout the day I noticed that it never smudged or bleed away from the area it was applied to, which is great to know especially for the summer months. A little bit of this eyeliner goes a long way. So you do not need to keep applying layers of it. I received the neutral brown colour and it was a great choice for my skin tone. At a retail value of $10.95, I would recommend this to be every female’s beauty staple.
This is a wonderful lip gloss. Really has an easy application with the applicator brush and the colour is applied evenly. The Cappuccino shade is a nice neutral shade but still gives off a little shimmer and tastes just as its name. What I have been doing to help the gloss stay longer, is to apply a lip balm underneath it. It last longer and also, it stops your lips from getting really dry from the shimmer in the lip gloss if used alone. At the retail value of $5.29, it’s reasonable enough to have many colours that change if your want to explore other scents.
The only thing I would recommend for everyone is to try them yourselves so you know what works for you personally.
